We collect the following information when you use pinRangeGolf:
- Email address and password (for your account)
- Golf shot data you enter (club, distance, shot type)
- App settings and preferences
- Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never store card details)
- Basic usage analytics (pages visited, features used) via PostHog
2. How We Use Your Information
Your data is used solely to provide the pinRangeGolf service:
- To store and display your yardage data
- To process subscription payments
- To improve the app based on usage patterns
- To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
We do not sell your data to third parties.
3. Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL) hosted on AWS infrastructure. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Supabase — database and authentication
- Stripe — payment processing
- PostHog — anonymous usage analytics
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Vercel — hosting and infrastructure
5. Your Rights (PIPEDA)
As a Canadian user, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Withdraw consent to data collection

6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is permanently removed within 30 days.
